A touch of history
The Priory has not had a monk since 1370 and was rented to a bailiff and administrator of the castle of Useldange. In the 14th century, it became a possession of the abbey of Saint-Hubert. The Jesuits transformed it into a farm in 1584.
After the suppression of the Jesuit order, the lords of Ansembourg became owners of the farm. The cloister arches in the large barn adjoining the house and in the cellars are the only existing visible remains.
